Counting stamps –
gentle and process-reliable

In practice, stamps usually come in small sheets and must be provided in defined quantities. Especially with different formats and surfaces, manual counting is prone to errors and time-consuming.

A synchronized counting solution enables fast and, at the same time, material-gentle counting – even with sensitive products.

Special Requirements for Postage Stamps

Stamps differ not only in their dimensions, but also in material and surface.

Typical versions include:

different printing processes such as gravure or offset printing
self-adhesive stamps
self-adhesive stamps

Especially with self-adhesive variants, heat is generated at excessively high rotational speeds.
In the worst-case scenario, the stamp could detach from the backing material.

Additionally, the material is fragile overall and must not be damaged during the counting process.

This is how the counting works

1

Manual feed

The stamps are manually loaded into the machine in stacks.

2

Mechanical count

The rotating counting disc captures the stack sheet by sheet and separates each sheet precisely and reliably.

3

Gentle separation

A suitable, shallow-depth counterweight prevents imprints and protects the sensitive material.

Key Features at a Glance

In Batch Counting Mode, the desired quantity is preset. Smaller, defined quantities are counted and provided from a larger batch.

This is how exact quantities, reproducible results, and clear process flows are created.

The counting speed is adapted to the respective product. The appropriate balance between speed and accuracy is chosen depending on the material, surface, and sensitivity.

This keeps the process reliable without unnecessarily stressing the material.

The counting mode, quantity, and counting speed are set via the software. The counting results can be saved and retrieved later.

Additionally, features such as password protection, language switching, and user permissions can be utilized.

The counting machine can be integrated into an existing network via LAN. This allows counting results to be retrieved directly and further processed if necessary.

This supports traceable processes and simplifies the documentation of counting processes.

Requirements

Different sizes

Different dimensions present special requirements for the

Counting process.

Various Materials & Surfaces

Mostly paper, but different printing processes like gravure

or offset printing.

Self-adhesive or wet glue

With self-adhesive labels, excessive speed can lead to heat buildup

Peel off lead.

Delicate material

The material must not be damaged or marked.

Flawless counting

Manual counting is prone to errors and time-consuming.
