The Counting Disc — Precision Engineered In-House
The counting disc is the heart of our counting machines and forms the foundation for highly precise and high-speed counting processes. Rotating at extreme speed, it separates the stack sheet by sheet, delivering exact counting results at maximum throughput while ensuring gentle material handling and reliable operation.
Today, this technology is used worldwide both in our own systems and as an OEM component within integrated production lines.
It is the result of decades of experience and the continuous advancement of our counting technology since 1990.
IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURING
Every counting disc is developed and manufactured in-house using high-performance stainless steel from the medical technology sector. This material enables exceptional precision while ensuring outstanding durability.
Our in-house manufacturing process is the result of years of continuous optimisation. Specialised production stages ensure that every counting disc meets the highest quality standards.
INDIVIDUAL PRECISION
Our counting discs are continuously developed and refined to meet the evolving demands of the market. As a result, we offer counting discs precisely tailored to our customers specific requirements.

Versatile Applications
Our counting discs are engineered to handle a wide variety of materials and industry applications — including paper, polymer and hybrid substrates, films and cartons, as well as specialised materials such as high-pressure laminates (HPL).
They handle grammages ranging from 35 to 500 g/m². However, standard parameters such as grammage alone are often not enough to select the optimal counting disc. Additional factors including stiffness, thickness, printing and security features must also be taken into account.
